Podiatry Services- Self Referral
West View Surgery is taking part in a pilot scheme which aims to reduce the waiting time for patients requiring support for foot care. Through this scheme patients are now able to self-refer directly to podiatry services via the on line referral form, click the link below:
The form only requires a minimal amount of information but you will be asked to enter your NHS number. If you do not know this, please speak to the Reception Team.
The conditions which can be referred to via this service are:
- Painful nails
- Corns and callus; dry or cracked skin
- Foot or nail infection
- Foot wound or ulcer
- Foot pain
- Symptomatic Verrucae
- Unable to cut own nails
Self-referral is not accepted for routine nail cutting and skin care, including corns and callus, verrucae, bunions or fungal nail infections, in healthy patients
